Ron's 40th Birthday in Las Vegas

The Trip

Our mini vacation is planned for a 2-3 days/nights stay (pending your available time off) in Las Vegas from Tuesday, May 3, 2005 to Thursday, May 5, 2005 for sightseeing, shopping, eating, relaxing, etc...with plans for Ron's 40th Birthday Celebration Party scheduled for Wednesday evening, May 4th in the hotel suite.

Intinerary

For those interested in joining us, see below for the schedule of events. Although the itinerary was just designed to keep us in track with a schedule to see as much as possible, everyone is welcome to make their own plans if they like. A Photo Book of our trip will also be created and available to order ($10.00 for soft cover bound pocket book / $20.00 for hard cover bound book) when we get back from our trip to remember the fun time we had. 4AM - (For Those Driving) Caravan leaves San Diego for Las Vegas. (For those flying, just schedule your flight whenever you can and try to catch up with us.)
7AM - Pitstop at Barstow for gas and restroom stop.
10AM - Arrive in Las Vegas and take Group Photo at the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.
11AM - 3PM - Light Lunch and Sightseeing on the South Strip

3PM - Check into Stratosphere Hotel
3PM - 6PM - Kickback, Swim or Relax at the Pool, Massage at the Spa, Take a Nap, etc...
6PM - Dinner Buffet (to celebrate Bob Papa and Marites Bobis' Birthday)
- Option 1 - Buffet at the Courtyard Buffet at the Stratosphere Hotel
- Option 2 - Buffet at the Canival World Buffet at the Rio Hotel (Las Vegas' Best and Biggest Buffet)
8PM - Entertainment
- Option 1 - If dinner at Stratosphere, take a trip up the Stratosphere Tower Observation Deck for a 360º view of Las Vegas and maybe ride the "High Roller", the world's highest roller coaster.
- Option 2 - If dinner at Rio Hotel, watch the "Masquerade Show in the Sky" (Free show featuring state-of-the-art floats that suspend from the ceiling and parade above the casino floor.)
9PM - Sleep or Sightseeing?
- Option 1 - Go back to hotel room for rest or to put kids to bed.
- Option 2 - Sightseeing on the Center Strip

10AM - Sightseeing on the Center Strip
- Bellagio
- Alladin
- Paris
- Caesars
2PM - Buffet Lunch at Harrah's "Fresh Market Square Buffet"
4PM - 7PM - Return to Hotel, Kickback, Swim or Relax at the Pool, Massage at the Spa, or Take a Nap, etc...at the Hotel
7PM - 10PM - Ron's "40th Birthday Party", Stratosphere Hotel Suite
11PM - Midnight Snack ($2.95 New York Steak and Eggs Breakfast)

10AM - Worship Service at Henderson Locale
12Noon - Lunch and Shopping at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets or Sightseeing on the Strip
3PM - 6PM - Kickback, Swim or Relax at the Pool, Massage at the Spa, or Take a Nap, etc...at the Hotel
6PM - "Fremont Street Experience", Downtown Las Vegas
(Free one-of-a-kind Light Show on the Viva Vision canopy, shopping and sightseeing)
9PM - Back to Hotel or or Sightseeing on the Strip

7AM - Breakfast Buffet at the Stratosphere's "Courtyard Buffet"
9AM - Check out of Hotel and leave Las Vegas for San Diego
12 Noon - Pitstop at Barstow
3PM - Arrive in San Diego
